Hi,

I can't seem to hear any difference between standard and sports exhaust on my pre-facelift SVR.

Is this normal or am I missing the trick?

Thanks

Not sure what you mean - do you mean you cannot hear a difference when you press the exhaust button?
If you look down the exhaust you should be able to see the exhaust valve open and close when you press the button

Two exhaust valves do seem to open.
But what I mean is that when you drive with the exhaust button pressed (valves open) or when you rev stationary - there's no difference in sound between valves open and valves close. At least I cannot hear any difference. I've had other cars before e.g. Porsche where the difference was clearly evident.

Definitely a difference, increase in revs and a few more pops. Obviously when it’s in dynamic you get it anyway. Maybe a little more subtle than a Porsche

I can certainly hear a difference on my 2019 car - could your valves be stuck open?
Most obvious difference is when car is just idling - deeper sound with valves open.
You valve is ECU controlled so fairly subtle difference at lower revs. There is a plug you can pull in the boot to keep the valves 100% open for maximum sound

what year is your car?

does it have the gasoline particulate filter because the difference between those that do and those that do not are noticeable
