I have had my limited edition XJR100 for the past couple of years & contemplating selling it to move on to an E-Type. She has 60k on the clock 400BHP & was owned by Jaguar for the first 5 years. This is the most desireable XJR & for sure a future classic, the performance is also breathtaking,,,,,,,,scary to say the least. Gotta be somebody out their looking for one at the right price of course

400BHP?

I thought the XJR100 was only aesthetically different. Did you let racing green tinker with it by chance? biggrin

What's the difference it's a damn fast car?

I don't suppose you have any more pictures apart from the cute little teaser showing the nice Montreal alloys?

I'm a bit confused guys. I'm sure I've seen these advertised as having twin superchargers. Is that two superchargers or one supercharger with twin screws?

Neither.

It's the standard single supercharger fitted to AJ-V8. The eaton "roots type" M110 unless I'm mistaken.

This confusion about "twin" I believe refers to the twin charge coolers (one for each bank). However they still come from a single intercooler as do all XJV8 superchargers.

The engine is the standard XJR one the differences with the XJR100 are cosmetic with the exception of the brembo brakes which were standard I believe?

(Edited for clarity x2)

For all the anoraks out their, more photos to come.

Jaguar marked the centenary of the company's creator, Sir William Lyons, with limited editions of its XJR performance saloon. Named the XJR 100, it combines the sporting and the luxurious in the tradition that Sir William established as Jaguar's hallmark.

Just 500 examples of the XJR 100 were sold worldwide. All the cars have sleek black metallic paintwork, leather interiors (black, red stitching) and luxury specifications. In addition, their performance credentials are highlighted with a series of additions to Jaguar's growing range of R Performance Options, which are initially exclusive to the limited edition cars.

XJR 100 Sporty R Performance features

Red stitching also features on the leather of the centre console and door trims, as well as the new designs of R Performance leather-covered sports steering wheel and Momo gear knob. The grey-stained bird"s-eye maple veneer on the dashboard subtly carries the Jaguar XJR 100 name on the passenger side, and the car is also equipped with unique XJR 100 tread plates front and rear.

Other standard interior features on the XJR 100 include a DVD navigation system, a premium sound audio system with CD autochanger and nine speakers, automatic climate control, power memory steering column, dual band fixed telephone, electrochromatic rear view mirror, trip computer, front cup holders and convenient audio and phone controls mounted on the steering wheel.

The XJR 100 is fitted with Jaguar's most powerful road-going engine - the 370 bhp supercharged and intercooled 4.0-litre AJ-V8 engine, which is matched to a five-speed automatic transmission. This entertaining but refined combination accelerates the car quietly from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. Confidence-inspiring roadholding and high-speed stability are delivered by the microprocessor-controlled adaptive damping of Jaguar's sports-oriented Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS). Like the standard XJR, the XJR 100 limited edition is equipped with cruise control, stability control, traction control, and front and side airbags.

"PETARD" for the ill informed: A small bell ended-shaped bomb used to breach a gate or rectal wall, Shakespeare was also fond of this expression & it can now be found in the inane utterings of forums such as this.

I've seen more blood come out of stones.

I'll bet the asking price is some way north of £10,000.
