XJ Parking sensors

wonder if anyone can help.. slight issue with an XJ, i think it's around 05/06. recently the plastics underneath at the front came loose and caused a fair bit of damage. since then neither the front or rear parking sensors work.

could understand the fronts or an individual one not working as wiring may have been damaged, but all of them?

it's been into jaguar but they say they got no errors.

Any common faults or anything to look at?

Slightly different, an S Type, and problems with the rear sensors.

I had a single failed sensor which did stopped all of the sensors working. The system came out with a long beep as I selected 'R', which I later descovered was the warning signal to say they were not functioning.

You may already know this. Select reverse with the engine running (best with someone with thir foot on the foot brake!), and put your ear to each sensor. My faulty sensor was silent, the remaining 3 working ones made like an electrical crackling noise.

Had the garage change mine. Sensor needed spraying, and the whole rear bumper removed to gain access.
