52 plate XK8 Transmission

Hi guys - hoping someone can help me out on this one. As above, 52 plate 4.2 XK8. Apparently, the J-Gate (PRND) lights started flashing this morning. I think it was when he selected drive, D would flash. Car seemed to drive OK, though he is unlikely to have been pushing it in this weather, so possibly in limp home? Google and PH search hasn't shown anything, but I am sure this has been covered on here before.
