Not another Forum

TBH http://etypeuk.com/forum/ is THE best Etype forum out there with a very well established database of enthusiats across the board.

What's more it's backed by the Etype Club and Etype UK

Why try and dilute the Etype fanbase?

Am I correct in saying youre Harrys brother? (the owner of EType Uk)

The best E Type Forum is actually Jag Lovers, around long before the one you mention.

Mine like the one you mention is just another option.

Not trying to discredit your forum but I've seen this so many times before and more recently with Renault Sport forums and specifically with the Megane R26R. Far too many to keep track of and the whole ethos is lost.

I was a memeber on Jag-lovers many years ago and personally couldn't get on with this US based forum as it isn't particularly user friendly.

Etype UK was a breath of fresh air but couldn't understand why there hadn't been a specific Etype forum before.

I've always found the different Jag-Lovers forums very helpful. I'm not usually in the E-Type one, but the XK (120/140/150) forum is very helpful and very friendly. The X300 one I used to read a lot too and that was also good. The couple of times I've straied into the E-Type forum the guys there have been very helpful and I've got answers to obscure questions.
I know a couple of people on Pistonheads have had run ins with some of the people on the E-Type forum on Jag-Lovers, but I've not seen an issue.

Jag-Lovers can also be used as a mailing list for those that prefer to read it that way.

It is inevitable that forums will get watered down over time.

Take a look at all the ones you can find and choose what best suits you.
There is no law that says you can only read one.

Also here on Pistonheads, if you are interested in MkXs and E's then there is probably at least as much chat happening over the the Yesterday's Heros/classics forum.

Cheers
Ken
