Lowering springs with CATS
Discussion
Hi, has anyone encountered any problems with lowering an XKR with CATS shocks?
Thought i read somewhere it can throw up error messages from the CATS sensors.
Am hoping the shock reacts to a sudden squeezing when it encounters a hard bend for instance, rather than detecting the fact that it is being squeezed up permanently because of the shorter spring?
If anyone has fitted them without probs i would be glad to hear about it, before i invest.
Many thanks in advance.

Can you point me in the right direction for lowering springs for a 2002 S Type R?
Have been looking at Paramount and racing green web sites, does anyone have any experience with these guys?
Cheers,

Easy to talk to and understand what you are looking for.
Tom man, knows his Clasic Jags as well as the Moderns
I'd recommend Paramount as they have worked on all three of my Jags and done many modifications for me including the uprated lowered suspension on both my XKR and S-Type R. (Which I have to say tranforms the handling!!) I am getting the XJR done soon, although as this has the air suspension and so is a bit more expensive, so am saving up at present!
Their workshop and technicians are first rate and competitively priced, and nothing is too much trouble!
I also looked at RGC when trying to select somewhere to get the work done, although from my experience with TVR's and Jags (and their associated owners clubs) RGC were often perceived by many as being overly expensive.
I chose Paramount as they seemed to offer more value for money, and above all else actually seemed interested in taking on the work!
Give Gerald a call on: 01753 533633, You won't be dissappointed!
Hope this helps,
Scott
