X-type Ice Warning and Parking Lights

Guys,

I have an 06 plate X-type sport estate, which came without a handbook.
Its a bit late now, but the Ice Warning light on the dash really gets on my nerves because its on constantly below about 5C
Is there a way to acknowledge that I've seen it and switch it off?

Also, parked on the road tonight I tried to put on the parking lights. You know how you flip the indicator stalk and leave a side light on so nobody smacks you pride and joy in the dark.
Only I can't find anything other than to leave both side lights on - rotate the lights switch one click to the right.
Is there a function that turns on just one side?

Sorry to be asking such noddy questions, its a flaming pain without a handbook!

Sorry can't answer your question but local Jaguar Dealer should sort you out

Could also ask them for a hand book, the other person that coulk supply one for you is Andrew on 0114 28 5158 he sells Jaguar paperwork and brochures

Should be able to download the latest version of the handbook Here
It may just give you the quick start guide, thats what I found, but if you want a pdf of the full 300 odd pages let me know.

I believe the Ice warning can be switched off but it will be a dealer job.
