A friends Dad is looking to sell his 1970 2x2 E-Type Jaguar Coupe, it has done 57,000 miles, is white with black upholstery and is in mint condition. He has no idea on potential value, or where would be the best place to advertise.

I know next to nothing about classics, unless they happen to be a Lotus. Wondered if anyone on here might be able to give us a steer as to where to advertise it, apart from on PH, and possible value?

TIA smile

Are you / is he a member of any of the clubs?
Jaguar Enthusiasts Club (JEC) / Jaguar Drivers Club (JDC) / E-Type club.
They all have monthly mags where you can advertise and will have someone who can give you an idea of likely resale values.
The JEC ads are also available through JagAds. ( http://www.jagads.co.uk/)

You could also try looking at classiccarsforsale ([url]http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/|http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/[url]) to get an idea of what they are selling for.

Oh yes, and you might be better off asking the

Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes

forum where most of us classic car freaks hang out.
