Out of Range Paint

New member thinking about a new XKR. I have read a few posts that indicate Jaguar will do an out of range paint color at a cost, but my dealer has said this is not an option. The color I am thinking about is Shadow Grey from the XKR Portfolio edition from two years ago I believe. Has anyone been successful in specifying an out of range color for 2010 models? Thanks!

You can get any colour from Jaguar. Not a very usual request and I'm sure Jaguar and your dealer especially would be dragging their feet as much as possible.

Have you seen the 'new' Stratus grey, which is replacing the vapour grey mid year, it looks fabulous, darker and more grey. I would go for that and save yourself a small fortune as you won't see any return on that money.
