Quick XJS alarm/indicator question

My brother has just bought an XJS and has just gone to set the alarm and all of the inidcators have lit up and stayed on. I believe that it is an aftermarket alarm. Does anybody know what the issue would be?

mine did this one then after playing with it a bit it locked its self and set the alarm off.

you should have a little black key that fits into the back of the noisy box.

i found that turning it off then back on after a few mins cured it. if it still wont work just pull all the fuses going into it and it will be disabled and the indicators will go off.

i think the alarm is a cobra one fitted by the dealers as an option.

Chris, Thanks for the response. He ended up checking all the fuses and relays and after a while or so slammed the drivers door and they went off and there hasn't been a problem since.
