Thought so. So any idea why I appear to be getting rust (like) bubbles under the paint on the leading edge just beside the grill?

Ali will corrode just as good as steel and people who think having aluminium panels means they will last forever are in for a nasty shock!

Aluminium will turn to a white rust and then just crumble away to dust, next time you pass an old landy disco take a look at the rear door, they always go!

You should have 6yrs warranty on body panels, as long as you can show this has not been caused by wear 'n tear, stone chips etc and has generally come from under the paintwork it should be covered

Next time I write something at 7am think I need to check my spelling lol all sorted I think!
