Buckled Montreal wheel
Discussion
Hi guys,
I'm gutted, hit a pot hole this morning and have well and truly knackered my front nearside Montreal. As you can see from the picture it's bent and cracked and obviously the tyre has gone as well.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement, are they available from dealers still? Aware BBS is no more so this could prove tricky.
Also has anyone had any experience of claiming from the council for the replacement wheel/tyre? The pot hole was a large one on a bend and has been ringed in white spray so they are obviously aware of it but not fixed.
I'll be heading back up there later to get pictures of it.
A very
Graham

GrahamBBS is still there (having switch 2 owners in the mean time iirc), I am also just having them repair a wheel.
They check the inner star, if that is without faults, then they will fix the rim
(ie replace). You need to send the whole wheel, as BBS wants to be sure no faulty/fixed rims are on the market as they say.
Think it is about 260 pounds or so (including shipping back to you), and you have a guarantee it is in perfect shape again.

Thanks for the comments/info guys.
XKRacer - thanks, would be interested if you can confirm it's a silver rim in good nick and also the type and condition of the tyre.
avos - do you have any contact details for BBS?
I've spoken with my local dealer and whilst they don't carry any, apparently the factory do hold some and they are quoting £590.64+VAT for a new wheel.
cheers,
Graham

I've just posted something very similar, except have two buckled wheels. How about using these guys or something similar: http://www.reinventingthewheel.co.uk/alloy_wheel_r...
i've just spoken to these guys:

They charge £65 per wheel. They can repair egg shape or dented wheels to as new condition apparently. Can't do laterally buckled wheels, but that doesn't look like an issue for you.
