XKR Screen wash problems

Hi

I have an amber warning light for Low screen wash in my XKR100. I have filled the water reservoir but the light remains on. When I press the screen wash button water comes out but the wipers don't operate and the headlight washer does not work?

Any suggestions on the fix would be appreciated before I start stripping the car down. Could this be a fuse or faulty switch? Any similar experience shared please.

Must be the float sensor in the screenwash tank. Could have packed up or more than likely got stuck in the empty position. Bit of fiddling required. Take out the tank.......
