X350 Exhaust tail pipe finishers

I was wondering if anyone knew if the chrome tail pipes are part of the exhaust system or are they a seperate bolt-on part? Dealer seems to think part of system, but I beg to differ, when you can quite plainly see the bolt hole bracket at the rear end!

On another matter, is the Air Suspension fault a common thing? with the compressors failing?

Dealers, in my experience, will want you to buy replacement shocks when you only need to get the suspension bushes. No doubt a replacement wheel will be recommended if you need a replacement dust cap!

This search is proving a lot harder than I thought

As a 'starter' I spoke to Stratstone at Solihull who, after a bit of bantering, want £105.00 inc. vat for the pair

I'm still hoping to track some down, but the stumbling block seems to be the large pipe diameter at 68mm, even good 'ol Halfords only go to 60mm!

Is there a problem with the ones you have? The ones on my X300 were really scruffy, i couldn't get them of to clean them, so i did it in situ, they have really come up a treat with wire wool and autoglym metal polish.

No, apparantly not! I called them yesterday and they say they haven't any for the X350.....ho hum, it's looking like a dealer job

Nightmare, they have been out long enough now, you would have thought someone would be making them.
