Hi all,

Got the wheels on now and really pleased with them.

I am definately going to go for a mesh grill (not the lower though) and I am thinking about putting a lip spolier on that the facelift has.

What do you think? Would I be taking it too far?

Regards

Mike

If possible, take the leaper off. It looks good on the cars it should be on originally, but bad on the X350s. (I'm guessing it's a step to far as you'd need a new bonnet?)

I'm also guessing those exhausts are on-standard. They stick out like a saw-thumb. Go back to standard and go with your idea of a mesh grille. The chrome surround and grille should look lovely on the seafrost.

(All in my opinion of course, but if you like all the bits-keep em thumbup)

Yeah im not a big fan of the leaper but I think its quite a job to get it off and im worried about needing a new bonnet of it all goes wrong.

My old man put the exhaust trims on before I bought the car from him, they are a bit on the big side!!

I wasnt keen on the colour before but I think it looks nice now.

You could probably get a round flat bonnet badge to fill the hole if you removed the leaper.

Funny I know what you mean about the leaper it just looks wrong on certain cars. I dont have one on the XJS I just have the growler badge and I think they are cheap enough to buy.

I have the mesh grille on my X350 and it does look good smile
Agree with other posters about the leaper, some like 'em and some don't...personally, I think they belong on older cars.
