XKR window drop

My 2000 XKR convertible has developed a fault. When you open a door, the window drops by about a centimetre to allow the window to clear the hood. When you shut the door the reverse happens. Not on my drivers side! The window goes down but not up. Its been like this since a battery change, any ideas??

Easy enough fix, if you haven't already done it:

Lower the window all the way and hold the button down until you hear a click, then raise it all the way and hold the button down until you hear another click. This should recalibrate the window winder "memory".
