Has anyone done the air intake tube mod ? Or opened the rear boxes up? Do they make a difference ? Or is a smaller pulley the best way ? And where can I get a LSD from ? Cheers Craig

Air intake , filter not a lot. Change the pulleys , change the power range , not much power boost. Change the supercharger to a KB , 100-150 BHP. Try TL Jaguars and/or Racing Green for the Quaiffe LSD. Wait for Norman to tell you about his mods smile

AS P700DEE has said. I know mine is an XKR but most items can be done on your S-Type R

Below is a picture of my intake mod, I also have a KennyBell supercharger fitted and to help get all that extra power on the road a Quaife Diff

All my mods are to long to list here, there was an article on my car in the May 2010 edition of Jaguar World

Best person to help with all these mods, he also has the LSD's in stock is

Tom Lenthall at TLJaguar post code RG40 4TS

Whats the difference with the Kendall Bell supercharger ? It all looks very similar on the outside.

A much better design inside so more power given with less power taken to power the supercharger, win win situation
Also doesn't heat the air so much, again giving more power

So from a 370/400BHP engine you can get something like 600/650 horses

For road use I go for 500/550 a 5min job to wind it up for the extra 100 for track days etc

Without looking you up do email me if you are in the southeast to have a look around, bring your strong underpants

Hi guys I don't want to go that far (I have a twin turbo 7,0 v8 rx7 for going really fast) I was just going to open up the exhaust and intake to make it breath better ! But a LSD is high on the list

As I said give TLJaguar a call, he is the only one I know who has a LSD for you car and they will do what else you require
