Hey guys, could you have a look at the below prices which include fitting and let me know whether or not i'm being ripped off.

replacement front brake discs and pads - 464.38
replacement of o/s rear brake pipe - 211.58
replacement of coolant header tank - 144.25

car is 2003 s type R. aren't able to call around garages to do my own research as i'm in australia working. car is currently sat in garage at jag main dealer.

That would be Jaguar prices then

Best to go to a good independant Jaguar specialist when you get back to the UK
Cheeper parts and cheeper labour

Two things:

1. For comparison, I had the rear discs and pads replaced on my S-Type 4.2 V8 at a JMD in December, cost £480.

2. A new coolant header tank is usually difficult to source so if it's needed and one is available, I'd advise have it done.

My local indy will buy parts from the Jaguar dealer and fit them if required - so even if you get stuffed for the part, the subsequent labour is much lower.

I've just done discs and pads all round on mine and got the parts from euro parts Way cheaper than that , but there are different types but they had them , I can been get handbrake pads that no one else lists ,
