X300 LWB Passed Its MOT. Yes!

Hi Guys

My 1997 X300 Sovereign 4.0 LWB had its first MOT today in my stewardship and it passed with no issues at all.

I'm over the moon!

It is a great car and I will keep it forever.

I had an X300 XJ Sport 3.2 years ago and really missed it. I was looking to replace it with an X300 XJR, but most of the cars MDT and I went to see were rubbish.

I saw this one on the way back from another wasted XJR viewing.

2 owners, 97k miles, full history and really immaculate. It even still has the original Jag phone.

I haven't done too much to it - just some minor paintwork, refurb of the alloys, new tyres and new exhausts.

Cheers! There are good ones out there. It just takes a bit of time to go through the dross.

Matt was lucky with his X308 as it was the first one he saw.

Stunning car you have there. I sold my X300 last year and still miss it a lot, i will be getting another some time soon, but not sure which one, really swaying towards the X308 XJR though.

Eh no, It was my second one I got. you forget the first one I went to see the black one that made many strange sounds and need 2500rpm to pull away. mmmm I did not look back as I walked away ;-)

Do it. I bought mine in Oct, and haven't regretted a moment of ownership

I usually get "itchy feet" with car ownership, and am looking for the next change, but I'm truly stumped as to what to replace the XJR with, so it's staying...
