Having just acquired my first Jag - an XF 3.0dS - I wanted the build spec just for my records.

As they no longer allow access to Topix for end users, and the jagcrc@jaguarlandrover.com is longer in use...

..I resorted to social media, expecting not much. However within an hour someone had responded, checked my ownership and provided the build sheet by email, and updated the ownership records.

That’s nice Vaud that somebody’s obviously done you a turn , ideal when you are keeping all the paperwork in a file . Is this your first Jaguar and how are you finding the car ?

Yes, first Jag after a diverse array of Saabs, VW and Audis.

I’m loving it, it’s a totally different drive, should make for an epic cruiser. It’s the portfolio XF3.0dS in Italian red with the 8 speed box.

I imagine it's a very enjoyable steer after those, I really rate the Mk1 XF. Lovely colour too.

Well, it's gone. I got fed up of the electrical gremlins, battery issues (some connected to the gremlins). Boot is relatively narrow (daughter is goal keeper for hockey and those bags are big...)

Consumables were OK, quite kind on tyres and the ride was good for 20" wheels.

Traded it in for a 2022 Tiguan Elegance with 17k miles and almost every option and really quite happy as I don't do many miles any more. Its the 1.5tsi (non EV) and its a peach of an engine (doing so few miles a diesel made little sense) - and having a more up to date cockpit makes for very relaxed driving - the ACC modes are a light year ahead of prior cars.
