Discussion
Any XKR beards can help please?
One headlight is out on dipped beam only
All other lights work in that headlamp

I spoke to an automotive electrician this morning and talked him through everything. He thinks I need to do a hard reset, as something has spooked the module. He said everything that has been done rules out virtually all the faults . A hard reset is disconnecting the battery, leave for 30-40 mins then reconnect or get a code clear. He said because all the other elements of the light are working and the other side is all working, it’s more a reset than the module, but if reset doesn’t work it’s the module.
Reconnected but light was still out. Took it to garage, got it plugged in , faults cleared from disconnection , then started and tested…. No faults….. nothing on dash saying bulb out.
I bought new ballast, then checked the whole unit by switching it to the other side and everything worked but doesn’t now

I believe there is an earth stud under the front wing that can be suspect due to corrosion
The headlights use this earth stud.
Assuming the fault stays withe same location
Will remake that but the nearside works when in offside and offside works on nearside but the offside does not work when in offside - puzzler The headlights use this earth stud.
