2019 XF 300 Sport - Tyre Wear
Discussion
I've tried googling this, but not found an answer.
I have an XF Sportbrake 300 Sport which is AWD. From what I have managed to find on google and also my own observations on tyre wear, it's RWD most of the time so the rear tyres are worn more than the fronts. All 4 tyres were fitted at the same time.
Is the 4WD system on these cars one of those that gets confused if the front and rear tyres are worn to different extents? I assume not, but I have read that some 4WD cars need tyres that are pretty much evenly worn.
Should I be looking to rotate the tyres to even up the wear? I have no issues with replacing 4 tyres at a time if that's the only downside to tyre rotation. It's going in for a service on Monday to a Jaguar specialist, so I will ask them also.
