After searching for an F Type, have found one that almost ticks all the boxes however doesn't have a reverse camera which i think with the restricted rear view is a must.
Can a reverse camera be retro fitted without the need for a new screen or head unit?

I hardly use reversing cameras, so I’d say you won’t miss much. They’re pretty easy to reverse with just the door mirrors. The pax one should tilt down when reversing too, and the angle is adjustable on all but the early cars.

Yes a rear camera can be fitted to the existing screen and there are two options. You can fit an aftermarket camera above the registration plate tucked underneath the overhang - this is far superior quality to the oem camera and looks neater as it’s less visible. The other option is oem with the hole being drilled in the rear bumper to match as if it was fitted at factory. This is usually at minimum 2.5k+ to fit

If I had the opportunity to re fit my reverse camera on my F-Type. I would put it anywhere but were the standard camera is. It's like a spot on a perfect complexion.... Just sat there out of place, like an after thought.
I would position it under the boot lid.
