xj8 - replacement engines

Just a quick question, if a 1998 xj8 has had it's engine replaced under warranty by Jag (in Aug 02), would Jaguar have also fitted the newer mk2 or mk3 timing chain tensioners to the car when it had it's engine replaced?

Would be second generation. The final 3rd generation were first fitted to the 4.2 engine and only officially as a retro fit to the 4.0 in 04
