Stratstone - Rubbish customer service

My old man just got back from taking his 07 X Type in to have the boot catch fixed, for the fourth time, previous attempts had failed and resulted in them taking the paint off the rear bumper, then quibbling when it was suggested they might wish to repair it, they did in the end, after a fashion. I also noticed that the chrome effect on some of the centre caps on the alloys was flaking a bit, he mentioned it to them and was told that they weren't prepared to replace them as it had probably been caused by chemicals used to wash the car.

Great service there, nice to see they'd rather further annoy a customer than fork out a couple of quid for a few bits of plastic. Ironically I think that apart from a couple of occasions the cars only really been washed by them from new because it's spent so long in the garage.

I used Stratstone Cardiff once, never again though, crap service. Not all the fault of the dealer as some of the problems were from Pendragon head Office.
