Great cars, I’m on my second. The first was a 2.0T Quattro and my latest is a 3.0TFSI Quattro.

With the 2.0T you need to ensure it has had the oil consumption issue work done, which involves pistons replaced, at a cost of around 4/5k, and usually done by Audi under warranty. There is lots online if you search.

Outside of this, if auto check the Steptronic oil services have been done online with Audis recommendations, which off the top of my head are 40 and 80k.

Correct on both; this is before the S Tronics were (fairly) reliable.

If it bumps, bangs, or lurches (tends to do it in reverse first) then tread carefully.

Front wheel drive 2.0 turbos torque steer quite badly, the quattro car is much nicer to drive.
