Audi S3 2017 headlight lens replacement

Sadly a pheasant flew out and has cracked the drivers side headlight. I can see lots on eBay ranging from £250-700, although many of those have marks and or broken tabs etc.

So, does anyone have any experience with replacing just the lens (headlight works fine). eBay has a lens for around £130 but what’s it like trying to split the headlight or will it just be a disaster?
