Audi S3 Saloon (8V) Service Schedule
Discussion
Audi's move to digital servicing is driving me insane.
I can't find the service schedule for my car anywhere.
It's not in the digital service book, the website is elusive to what the car actually needs, the MyAudiApp won't display mileage or intervals and my local deal couldn't get their head around it either.
I'm loathed to hand over £400 for the 2nd service without actually knowing what's being done.

A little light Googling should show what's required. In general, VAG products:
- alternative between an annual / 9k-mile oil change and a bi-annual oil change with inspection
- N.B. you can do inspection services up to 18k / 2 years (Longlife) if you do long journeys
- brake fluid at 3 years, then every 2
- haldex (quattro) fluid at 3 years
- S-Tronic / DSG oil at 40k miles
Intervals for spark plugs, air filter etc are 4-6 years depending on model. Gen 5 Haldex units on the S3 are known to need early fluid changes to avoid clogging.
If you register on the Audi Erwin site *as a trader* then you can access a car's history with its VIN and make entries to the system up to 10 days after the recorded date (N.B. you must register as a trader to do this, even if you're not). The digital service schedule will also show what's required next and gives a full breakdown of all items to be done / checked. It's a clunky system and takes some navigating, but it's helpful.

Well, this is the issue, everyone says something different. Even the dealers. Haldex I'm being told it's mileage based but not annual, brake fluid at 2 years. - alternative between an annual / 9k-mile oil change and a bi-annual oil change with inspection

No one, not even Audi can give me a straight answer!
