Hi,
Today had BCA pick up our VWFS lease car & they said the costs for some of the damage (and it was way to high IMHO).

The car is 3 years old and we have done 4,000 miles less than the lease (due to COVID)

Does VWFS take the costs that BCA give as gospel, or is there room for manoeuvre

Thanks

That's a shame.

We handed a 2yo Tiguan back in 2017 and the repair costs were very reasonable. I was glad I hadn't sorted them myself beforehand in fact.

Our Golf went back to vwfs in March
BCA inspected and reported around £500 in repairs including a chipped windscreen.
I signed but stated I dispute the costs.
Never heard a dicky bird back.

My a5 went back in March. It was collected from my audi dealer so I wasn’t there on collection. I had a massive dent in the hood. It hasn’t broken the paint but was very noticeable. I think someone had sat on the car and did it. I was fully expecting to get charged for that and for 1 of the rims. However when I got the letter from vw they didn’t charge me for the dent and only the 1 rim. As it was less than £100 and I got another audi they waved the charge.

What's the hood?
