Main dealer servicing and MOT

My Audi is due in for service in the next month and the MOT is also due. I usually get servicing done with Audi but MOT done with an independent (because it’s £15 cheaper).

If I book them combined, will they do me a deal and price match on the MOT? (Volkswagen offered this to me before so wondering if they’d do something similar)

I never seem to get much joy when trying to haggle with my local Audi dealer and shopping around with other Audi dealers it seems most have a centralised booking system using the Audi UK site.

15 quid is likely all they make on an MOT (if not more given silly franchise overheads); you'd only know by asking directly.

Do Audi still have scheme where they "guarantee" the car will pass its next MOT? Probably not an issue on a newish car although we did have SEAT fail at 4yrs (after a bit of a battle SEAT UK did refund the cost).

Of all marques, Audi is the where I seem to see people saying they did a price match deal - sure there's someone on here who had them match Halfords for a service.

I didn't even get past the booking call centre when trying to arrange a service. Apparently my car needs two services, can't tell me if my service plan can be applied, or when it expires, what it'll cost or whether they can collect.

So if they're anything like that, just book it locally, life's too short.
