Hi, i'm off to look at a 225 bhp TT which has been DTM (factory) tuned, If possible can anyone tell me what kind of modifications DTM tuning invlolves or does it vary depending on the DTM package?

thanks

No such thing, as far as I know. There has never been a factory tuning option. The nearest (claimed) thing would be from Abt, but that does not have a factory warranty. Actual DTM cars were of course rear wheel drive V8s that just happen to look like a TT....

Where did you see the car - any links?

Ive got an A4 DTM (pic on profile) which has a remapped 2.0 tfsi engine (220bhp, latterly found in the 2.0 tfsi SE cars) which has tuned suspension, unique bodykit and a few other bits and pieces. They only made 1000 of these (250 RHD), but not aware of a TT DTM?

Never heard of one in all my years of selling Audis, and never heard of factory tuning - Audi "Exclusive" packages tend to be cosmetic, and quattro GMBH only got involved in the Audi TT quattro Sport which was a 1.8T quattro with better gas filled coil overs, narrower front tyres and wheels to dial in a bit of understeer at the limit, the aero kit from the 3.2 and fancy two tone paint with Phantom Black roof, mirrors, spoiler gurney flap and grilles unless you went for Phantom Black all over...

Identified by "WUA" start to the chassis code compared to "TRU" on the Hungarian built cars.

Optional Recaro buckets with no adjustment except leg length were available, but never heard of a TT DTM.

No rear seats, 250bhp and a big rear strut brace iirc too...
