What tyres and you all running and are happy with?

I have an 03 golf and am finding my current rubber leaves much to be desired.
The original Bridgestone Turanza’s lasted for quite a while and were pretty good.
I am currently on some real cheap things on the front (not my choice) and have had a few “moments” recently and one brown trouser moment today.
Hot road, fast bend and just didn’t want grip.
I do very few motorway miles and would be happy to fit summer tyres all year long and just, err slow down in the winter.

I run Falken FK452's on my Golf V5, and my TVR. Good price, excellent grip wet and dry. 452's are the performance tyre, their other tyres are ok, but you wont get the same grip levels.

I used to run them on my Omega but being a bit of a barge with marshmellow suspension I couldnt see any difference between the falkens and the cheap crap I have on it now !

go to the right place and pirelli p-zero rosso's can be picked up for mid range money these days. They used to be a top of the range tyre and it really shows! Toyo's are better in the dry but very fast wearing and nothing I've owned have been better in the wet than the p-zero's. I've heard it said befor but you really can drive like its dry!
