need help with a noise from my vr6 storm.

just bought this great car as a new toy.
i know there is a noise coming from the top end which is a loud clicking. seems to go away when you have built up the revs.
Also looking for somewhere or one to do various jobs on it but not willing to pay VW prices.
can anyone help

since you're in hampshire, you could do worse than giving Darren at G-werks a bell - he is a G60 expert, but I think you would do well to take your p&j there. He's based at littlehampton on the south coast (near Hove I think) which isn't too far for you to travel... is it? I used to travel from leeds to wigan to visit Dubsport when I wanted stuff done on mine.
