Ur Quattro Cylinder Head
Discussion
The head gasket has gone on my '83 WR. I have been advised that possibly due to an iffy rebuild some years ago there is damage to the cylinder head which means a new head is required.
Any of you guys got any top tips on which specialists may be best to get one from?
Also is the basic block the same as for contemporary 'cooking' 5 cyl Audis?

You MUST talk to Roger Galvin at the quatro workshop near Lutterworth (01455 557190/ 01455 208037). Roger is the technical secretary of the quattro owners club and all round oracle on quattros - even Audi UK ask him stuff these days. I am sure that there are other specialists around but Roger is the only one I have trusted to look after my MB for the last 9 years.Any of you guys got any top tips on which specialists may be best to get one from?
