VAG - VW Golf/Bora 110TDi engine tune/remapping.....
Discussion
Lurking in here having had little success in the SEAT Forum...
Have just taken delivery of a S/H Leon 110TDi. Nice car - but seems a bit toothless compared to the 1.7 Puma I was driving before.
Have heard that chip/box/remap tuning these VAG TDi's is pretty straightforward with great results.
Anybody had any joy upping the power/torque on their VAG 110TDi and if so what/who would you recommend going with? Not looking for stellar performance as it is the family motor and don't want to compromise the longevity of the drivetrain either. Have heard good things about the modest upgrade of a TD performance tuning box... (110bhp =>132bhp and 235lb/ft =>285lb/ft).
Any help greatly appreciated.

Not exactly the same but similar none the less - Ive had my 2007 VW Caddy Tdi van remapped ( Golf based van ) - standard it was 104 bhp and has been upped to around 135 ish . It pulls like a rhino and is very driveable at everyday speeds - the increased torque is excellent meaning less gearchanges . Yes it is now very quick but in the real world I find it alot more driveable without harming the fuel consumption - would I recommend it - yes , without a doubt - Barry
