V5 Golf identification

Is there a way of telling whether a V5 Golf is the 150bhp or 170bhp version from the outside ?? It is a 5 door, on a 51 plate, has 16" rims and is quoted as having "black sport leather interior"

Lift up the boot lining and look around the housing for the spare tyre, there should be a white label detailing the particulars of the car. The power will be expressed in KW, the 170 bhp being 125kw, and the 150 bhp being 110kw. The non-scientific, and not wholly accurate way is the 170 'V5' badge usually has a red 5, whereas the 150 is silver.
