520hp in a TT...?

Nothelle releases modded TTs

What is it with tuners and white Audi TT roadsters at the moment?

No sooner has Abt released its take on the German sportscar (see PH earlier this week), then domestic rivals Nothelle show this – their take on what a TT could, or should, be.

Available for both Roadster and coupe TTs, the Nothelle kit comprises the expected bodystyling and exhaust options. It also includes suspension ‘upgrades’ including a fully adjustable coil-over kit.

But the interesting bit lies under the bonnet. Firstly, the 2.0 litre turbo can be boosted in increments up to 330hp.

But if that’s not enough, Nothelle will rebuild a 3.2 V6 TT with the addition of twin turbochargers to produce 520hp and 635nm of torque.

That should kill any hairdresser jokes for good…

"Firstly, the 2.0 litre turbo can be boosted in increments up to 330hp." - That'll be through a FWD chassis then won't it? Nice...

When has that ever bothered tuners? There was a FWD V6 golf with over 400hp around somewhere.

Well, a Veyron is a few pennies outside a TT owner's demographic, plus the TT route has the benefit of being able to pick and choose your desired performance options. The new TT is more attractive & purposeful than the previous one (and from what I've read has a better ride), the R8 is a bit too obviously a fast car (LEDs in the engine bay nuts !).

Here's the link to Nothelle's original press release (scroll down past the German version) http://www.nothelle.com/show_cars_1_3.htm

Awesome car, and this time the chassis can handle the power! I bet MR will make this car simply biblical to drive too.

What more could you want a V engine, fantastic handling, fantastic performance and 520bhp
