I've got a Helios Blue Mk1 Campaign, just about to get some german pressed plates for it and I was wondering weather to leave it on the original A plate or bung it on a private reg I have on retention (YJY 107), I'm leaning towards the A plate?

What do you think?

I had similar dilemma on my old 964,in the end decided to keep to normal "J" reg plate rather than a private. People in the know knew the crack and i never had a bite from the fuzz once. Had them on 2 & half years as well. Stick with the "A" plates

Close, Maritime blue - popular colour for the 964 RS,mine was a special for a C2 coz the original owner worked at the Stuttgart factory (hence being LHD as well). Riviera a bit brighter and a bit more POW...IN YER FACE!!

www.eutags.com but that was about 4 years ago,you can them cheaper elsewhere,my mates just got his from www.dubmeister.co.uk but the quality is crap compared with the EU Tags ones. Original German press is used, def worth the extra.
Get the surrounds as well, looks mint together,i've got some on my current M5,i've got a contact somewhere for some some decent old skool VW ones,I'll try and dig em out..

I had a helios blue Campaign years ago, A***MKL, very rare.
Easily the best colour, better than Lhasa Green, but only just.
A plate baby, all day.
