S4 V8 facelift (the new Audi face)

Seems to be a fair difference in price between the new facelifted V8 S4s on the market and the previous V8 models.

Are there any major mechanical differences between the 2 versions?

Just the rear suspension going from multi link to trapezoidal. Otherwise mostly interior (MFSW) kit and cosmetic

The newer B7 car also has the quad-tipped exhaust tips, which certainly sound a lot louder and better than the twin set up on the standard equipped B6 one. I'm pretty certain the performance will be no better.

I wasn't aware of the difference in rear set up between the two - news to me!

That being said I'm also certain that GSCollie will let you know that a Miltek system will sort that out!!

I only know about the suspension as when I was trying to fit the B7 RS4 Brembo rear brake kit found to my peril it will not fit a B6 but it will fit a B7 S4.

I forgot about the quad pipes. And drybeer is right in saying they do look and sound better than OEM B6, enough not top need a Milltek, unless you wanted more power from them and then a full system would be in order.
