VAG Golf Clones - Sloshing Water in Doors

Hello. Car is 2019 Skoda Octavia. Below probably applies to VW Golfs, Seat Leons, Audi A3s, and any other VAG MQB Platform clone.
Symptom:
I heard sloshing water coming from the rear of the car. I thought it was the petrol tank, filled-up - still sloshing.
Answer:
Rear nearside door full of water!
Remedy:
Pulled down rubber seal strip at bottom of door - loads of water came out. Pulled whole seal down - more water came out of the drain holes along with filth.
Idea:
Loads of tree pollen = door drainage holes blocked; Loads of rain = water in door not able to drain.
Completion:
Refixing door seals - there are little holes in the rubber which fit onto little 'T' shaped plugs in the door.
Using pick tools managed to get rubber hole onto one side of the 'T' and then stretch the rubber hole onto the other side.
