Rattling seats/trim Leon Estate

I’ve got the above in my 2019 Leon FR Estate, I've had the squabs out and put tape around the seat back catches but its still rattly as hell!

Has anyone suffered the same and sorted it? It’s not the tailgate as that is sitting firm and secure, I just can’t work out whats loose as when you sit in the back it seems to be coming from everywhere.

The rear seat? If it's anything like a Golf 7 (probably is) then it's caused by the rear seat pivots (at the bottom), not the latches. You can add some foam tape (or similar) to the little notches where the pivots rest to better locate them and stop the rattling.

Just to resurrect and provide an update in case anyone else is still getting rattling from a Seat or I presume anything sharing the same platform from VAG.

After ripping the interior apart several times taping everything, and eventually running around with no trim in the back at all I located the problem.

It was nothing inside the car at all but in fact the Shock absorber top mounts having worn slightly such that the top nut was no longer holding the munt tight to the shock ram and letting it rattle about.

New top mounts and a washer to be sure and Bingo, a quiet car.
