Seat Arona Infotainment screen blank

Our 4 year old Arona has worked perfectly until today. After driving to a shop and getting out - on return the infotainment screen is blank. The normal compass on the main dash says not currently available.

Not sure whether this is a software issue, a fuse or something more sinister. Any ideas?

Try a hard reset - press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.

I had this in a 21 plate Ibiza a few years ago & the hard reset fixed it.

I just need to work out how it happened in the first place.

There are issues with the VW based infotainment system, where this will happen intermittently. (Not limited to VAG group cars, but it's been noted in most VAG models foe the last few years). The hard reset usually sorts it out for a while.
