2015, 65,000 miles MOT Advisory below....

"Offside Front Power steering component has slight seepage from a component rack gator damp with oil (2.1.5 (a))"

The car has no power steering fluid reservoir, so where's the fluid coming from? confused

Does the bit that says rack gait or not give it away? My guess and it's just a guess is the steering rack has a split gaitor.

Yes, I guess so, and in a normal car I'd be checking the Power Steering fluid levels to see how serious the leak.

But there's no reservoir.

Its not a power steering leak, its a power steering component leak. E.G. the rack is part of the power steering.

Grease/lubricant or leaking from somewhere else and seeping down.

It's a reasonable question - give the area a really good clean and keep an eye on it. See what (if anything) comes back after a few miles.
