Hi all,

Car in question is a Mk6 golf Gti.

I need to buy a replacement rear outer lamp cluster (right side) as the plastic screw that hold it in place has broken off, leaving it to come loose and fill with water.

The lights are the ones that look like this

I have bought one of these in the past (for the other side) form one of the standard online motor factors, but nowhere seems to list them now! does anyone know whats going on, or where I might be able to get one from?

Thanks!

Since posting I saw the Hella ones, I was hoping to not pay £300 though! The other brands are about 1/3 the price if they are in stock anywhere! Might have to bight the bullit with that one though!

I would recommend not toucing autodoc with a bargepole! They have a habit of sending out a completely different brand to what you order then making it hell on earth trying to get a refund for the items you didn't order!

I've bought Hella lamps from Autodoc several times over a period of years and had no issues.

Never had a different brand arrive for other parts either.

I've ordered from then once for some suspension bits and rather than sending what I'd ordered (febi) they sent they're open branded stuff (think it was spark or something)

When I emailed them they said they'd sent the different stuff because of stock availability and because they're own stuff was more expensive and they'd not charged me extra it's fine. Their stuff is deliberately priced slightly more expensive so they can try and do this but the quality is really poor.

Because of this they said I wasn't entitled to a refund. And it took a lot of fighting to get it.

I googled it and there seems to be tons and tons of people who have had the exact same experience.

Wow, perhaps I've been lucky?

20+ Autodoc orders and the only item I've ever returned was Zimmermann's fault rather than theirs.
