A5 DSG Gearbox oil change interval.

I’ve an A5 Sportback 2.0ltr 2022.
I know the service interval for the gearbox oil change is 40k.
I’ve only done 26k and it used to be 40k OR 4 years. My understanding that the advice now is 40k irrespective of age.
The car is a keeper for me so would enthusiasts / knowledgeable people do the oil change earlier?

Can't hurt to do it early.

Don't think the schedule on S-Tronic oil has ever been 4 years.

If it's seeing a lot of short trips, town use, or heavy use, doing it early could be a bit of sensible preventative maintenance.
