Audi SQ7 Brakes - the squeal is driving me mad
Discussion
First time poster here so if I'm dragging up old issues happy to pointed in the right direction... But...
The brake squeal on my Audi SQ7 (petrol from 2020) is getting ridiculous. It was at the dealer for a service last week and they told me everything was normal... Discs will need replacing with the next set of pads but not immediately.
However, it's getting silly. The squeal goes away for a few days after a good clean of the brakes but then it comes back seemingly worse every time.
Does anybody know of a fix or do I just need to suck it up and get new discs despite what the dealer said?

Welcome to Pistonheads.
Have the brake discs measured; not just an 'eyeball' from Audi dealer. The minimum acceptable thickness is stated in erwin. If they're original to the car and it's done 30k or more they're probably worn out anyway.
Squeal is likely that the pads are badly glazed. If they were never run in appropriately (common with normal 'road car' driving) then they may well be fit only for the bin. If the discs have good material left a new set of pads with appropriate compound and bed them in according to manufacturer guidance.
No need to buy from Audi (loony prices on brakes), you can get good alternatives from Kinetix, ECR, Borg & Beck:
