The whistling

Just got rid of the annoying whistling when driving with the rear part of the hood up.

The struts are hollow and whistle. Just put in a piece of rubber (had some spare door-seal) to close the strut.
Simple and effective.

You can get the original finishers pop up on eBay and the classified ads from time to time if you wanted the original bits.
