Replacing the engine bulkhead heat shields

can this job be done with just removal of the exhaust manifolds ??
The material is both glued and riveted so to remove properly you would normally drill out the rivets. This will not be possible so you would need to grind the rivets off with a Dremel or die grinder. You would then only be able to glue the material on which will work but probably not last as long. Having said that the heat matt material on the underside of the bonnet is only glued on and that lasts a good number of years.Steve
