Main beam/Spotlight bulbs?

Are the bulbs replaceable for the original lower main beam/spotlights on the pre-cats? If so, what is the bulb type?

I don't think 100w are road legal and will probably overload the wiring, you should have 55w .

My 1992 4.3 pre-cat has H1 bulbs. 100W is too much. I fitted LED bulbs to mine which so far seen OK and a nice white light (around 6000K). However take a look at www.bettercarlighting.co.uk they have just released what seems like a quality kit (4300K) more expensive than whats available on Amazon or eBay but the quality is I think superior. Thanks for the information. Will take a look at how to remove the bulb and get a replacement.
