The switches are on a metal bracket which bolts to the back of the dash. You need to unbolt the bracket then push the switches forward.. This is the best photo I have of it
Dash needs to come out, and the panel that the switches attach to is bolted from the rear, dropping the steering column by removal of two bolts allows the dash to be pulled out very carefully .....

Can you get the original switches with the concave button?
I had to replace my headlight switch a little while back and while the switch body appears to be the same it has a flat button and protrudes slightly more than the others. It is minor but annoying me...
